All community council members are unpaid volunteers from the Cove and Kilcreggan Community geographical area (which includes Portkil, Ardpeaton and Peaton).
A new Community Council was appointed as part of the Community Council Elections, in October 2022.
Community Council elections are run every four years, with by-elections every two years. There are 16 places available on the Cove and Kilcreggan Community Council, with 10 places filled.
